UNDP and Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) launched the Chemicals of Concern for the Health Care Sector report today.

The report features case examples that demonstrate how hospitals have successfully substituted chemicals and chemicals in products with more sustainable alternatives. This experience shows how health systems are moving away from hazardous products by substituting them with safer alternatives. Case studies are from members of HCWH’s Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH) network and Sustainable Health in Procurement Project (SHiPP) partners in South Africa, the Philippines, Colombia and Costa Rica.
