New job opening: International Climate and Health Campaigner

Health Care Without Harm’s International Climate Program is pleased to announce a new full-time job opening for an International Climate and Health Campaigner. 

Position Description

The International Climate and Health Campaigner will lead the development and execution of Health Care Without Harm’s health professional organizing initiatives and related strategic communications as part of its Global Climate Program to accelerate climate action from within the health sector. The role’s primary aim will be to mobilize the health sector to protect public health from climate change and air pollution by fostering a transition from the common source of these two problems: fossil fuel combustion. Advocacy and strategic communications will focus on building momentum via Health Care Without Harm’s core constituencies—health care leaders and health professionals—as well as its diverse network around the world. The International Climate and Health Campaigner will also work with other networks and organizations to advocate for a just and equitable transition to clean renewable energy, clean transport, and sustainable food systems.

Location

This job is remote/virtual and open to all candidates globally. Must be able to coordinate working hours with a core team in the Americas and Europe, and to work with a broader team around the world.

Closing Date
