As the community quarantine came and went in the Philippines, women have been in the front lines battling the coronavirus – in the hospital, in communities, and especially in the households. The pandemic did not only pose a threat to women’s sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and lives, it also exacerbated the prevailing inequalities that continue to victimize this vulnerable group, among others.

In this light, Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Southeast Asia in partnership with CARE Philippines cordially invites you to a night of art and cultural experience via Zoom on June 30, 2020 (Tuesday) at 8:00 – 9:00 PM (PST) entitled, “Tinig ng Kababaihan para sa Kalusugan at Kalikasan”. The event will feature women artists and performers to communicate and heighten the public’s awareness on the SRH issues of women during the pandemic, as well as solidarity speeches from allies in the healthcare sector, organizations, and communities to demand free mass testing and better and more inclusive health services.

This event aims to build a network of resilience between the climate-vulnerable communities, artist collectives and the healthcare sector and work towards a climate-smart and resilient sexual and reproductive health and rights for women and for all.
